JOINING FORCES: OUR COMPANY COMMITTED TO SOLIDARITY VALUES.
At our company, we are committed to acts of solidarity that seek to make the world a better place for everyone. We firmly believe in the importance of contributing to the well-being of society and making a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most. Through our solidarity actions, we seek to generate a significant and lasting impact in the communities in which we operate. One of our main commitments is to support children in vulnerable situations. We are proud to announce that we have the privilege of sponsoring five children through the NGO Ayuda en Acción. This initiative allows us to provide them with access to education and accompany them throughout their development until they enter the world of work, ensuring that their community’s basic needs for food and medical care are covered, thus guaranteeing a more promising future for them. We are committed to continue supporting them in their growth and development. In addition, we also collaborate, and for more than 20 years now, with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, sponsoring five other children. Through this association, we provide financial and emotional support to these children, helping them to overcome the barriers they face in their daily lives. We believe that all children deserve a fair chance in life, and we are proud to be a part of the process of change in their lives. The Vicente Ferrer Foundation has awarded us the distinction of Solidarity Entity.
Not only do we focus on child sponsorship, but we are also active members of Anesvad, an organization dedicated to global health. Through this collaboration, we contribute to improving access to basic health services in disadvantaged communities. We believe that health is a fundamental right, and we work together with Anesvad to ensure that everyone has access to quality healthcare. Additionally, we have actively collaborated with the TV3 Marathon, a charity initiative that seeks to raise funds for research and progress in the treatment of diseases. This collaboration allows us to be part of a collective effort to improve the quality of life of people affected by different pathologies, promoting hope and solidarity. Another notable event in which we participate is the Transpirinaica Social Solidaria. Through this activity, we promote sport and solidarity at the same time. Our team actively participates in this journey, raising funds that are used for social projects and help for people in vulnerable situations. In addition, we have collaborated in some Nordic walking events with the Fundació Catalana de Síndrome de Down to provide support and resources to people with Down syndrome and their families. We believe in inclusion and equal opportunities, and through this association, we work to promote a more just and understanding society. We also collaborate in solidarity Nordic walking with the Marina WalkTrail, with the Fundació Amics de l’Hospital del Mar, where we join forces to raise funds to fight cancer or mental illness. Other solidarity Nordic walking events where we actively participate and make a contribution are Ecomarxa, Castelldefels en Marxa and Marxa Salud.
Every year we make our contribution to the Red Cross and the Josep Carreras Foundation. These are just a few examples of our collaborations and solidarity actions. We are also involved in numerous smaller scale events and activities that allow us to contribute to various charitable causes and local organizations. Our commitment to solidarity acts is a fundamental pillar of our business philosophy. We believe in corporate social responsibility and in the power of collective action to bring about meaningful change.
