At the end of the 19th century, Mr. Magí Sala, great-great-grandfather of the current management, was the first director of a textile factory in Gironella (Barcelona), beginning a tradition rooted in both industry and a passion for sports—especially mountaineering.
Lluís Sala: A Climbing Pioneer
Mr. Lluís Sala, father of the current directors, was a pioneer in climbing and trekking, reaching major peaks of the Iberian Peninsula with limited resources.
His enthusiasm and wisdom greatly contributed to the company's achievements.
